YOUR ROLE WITH THE COMPANY:
- This position reports directly to the Global Civil/Structural Engineering Manager
- Work alongside experienced Civil/Structural design engineers to prepare engineering deliverables in accordance with Company Management System, current legislation, project requirements and international standards.
- Implement assigned engineering work within the budget and project timescale.
- Maintain knowledge of the latest standards, legislation, products and practices relating to the relevant engineering discipline to reinforce professional competency
BACKGROUND PROFILE:
- Must have completed your Bachelors or Masters Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Good problem definition and problem-solving skills.
- Good technical and non-technical communication skills, both written and oral.
- Good command of MS Office applications.
- Familiarity with industry standard civil/structural software tools (e.g. Navisworks, STAAD Pro, AutoCAD etc.) is a plus.
- Ability to work as part of a group and on individual tasks within a larger team.
- Legally authorized to work in the UK without sponsorship.
Preferred
- Previous internships or work experience in civil/structural engineering, operations or other technical role.
- Previous experience in a petrochemical design engineering environment
- Knowledge of site construction or steelwork fabrication is a plus
